What is BSL

Business Source License 1.1: the source code is visible, self-hostable, and auditable, but a commercial license is required when it is used for commercial purposes. Non-competitive personal and internal use is free.

Converting to Apache 2.0 in 2029

We commit to converting the TaskForge core to Apache 2.0 fully open source in 2029, at which point all usage will be unrestricted.

Read, modify, and self-host the source code; use it for personal and internal business purposes; and contribute to the community.

You need a license

When offering TaskForge as a hosted service to third parties for a fee, you must contact us to obtain a commercial license.
